By using raterankings.com ("the site"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. RateRankings is operated by Ian Merrill, a sole proprietor doing business as RateRankings, in Massachusetts ("we," "us").
What RateRankings is
RateRankings is an information and comparison service. We collect advertised interest rates and credit card terms from public sources, organize them, and publish them so you can see who is offering what. We are not a lender, mortgage broker, loan originator, loan arranger, insurance agent, or financial advisor, and we are not an agent of any lender or card issuer listed on the site. Information only — nothing here is an offer
- Every rate, APR, fee, and term on this site is a third-party advertised figure collected from public sources. It is general information, not an offer of credit, a quote, a pre-approval, or a promise of any kind.
- Rates change without notice — sometimes daily. The rate you see here may no longer be available by the time you reach the lender, and the rate you are actually offered will depend on your credit profile, the product, the amount, the term, and the lender's current pricing.
- Nothing on this site guarantees that any lender will approve you, or that any advertised rate will be the rate you receive.
- Some figures (for example, payment examples) are illustrations based on stated assumptions. They are examples, not predictions of your costs.
Verify before you act
Before applying for any loan or card, verify the current rate and all terms directly with the lender or issuer, and read their official disclosures. If a figure on this site differs from the lender's own current figure, the lender's figure controls. If you spot an error here, tell us at contact@raterankings.com — we correct or remove wrong rates promptly.
Third-party links
Links to lenders, issuers, and other sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites, aren't responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Some outbound links are paid links; that never changes how results are ranked (see our Advertiser Disclosure and How We Rank pages).
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, no misrepresenting content from this site as your own live data feed, and no using the site for any unlawful purpose. Rate figures themselves are facts, but the site's text, tables, and presentation are our work — please link to us rather than copying pages wholesale.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We work to keep rates accurate and current, and we remove rates we can't verify — but we make no warranty that any figure is accurate, complete, current, or available to you, and no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RateRankings and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including a rate that changed or was unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Your decisions about borrowing are yours; this site informs them but does not make them.
Email alerts
If you sign up for rate alerts, you agree to receive the alerts described at signup until you unsubscribe. Alert emails follow the same accuracy rules as the site, and every alert carries an unsubscribe link.
Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page, with its "Last updated" date, is the one in force. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and any dispute relating to the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
