How we rank

Ranked by rate, only

Every table is sorted strictly by advertised APR, lowest first. Payment — its existence, size, or absence — is never a ranking input.

Every rate shows its receipts

Each number names the lender, the public source it came from, and the date we pulled it. If we can't show where a rate came from, it doesn't run.

Stale rates come down

Rates refresh daily. A rate we can no longer verify is removed — not greyed out, not footnoted. A smaller table of true numbers beats a bigger table of maybes.
